Her influences are disparate and diverse, reflecting travel, education, and life experiences, here and abroad: Russian folk art, Persian and Indian Miniature painting, Egyptian tomb frescos, ancient Japanese pottery, Bauhaus theory and design, abstract expressionism with Mid-Century Modern elements drawn from the architecture and art of the 20th century.
